In the final round of this year's Bennet's British Superbike Championship, held at the Brands Hatch Circuit, UK, Leon Haslam, nicknamed the 'Pocket Rocket', became 2018 Champion at the end of race one. He went on to crowning glory by winning the final race of the season, in wet conditions, in a race described as 'epic' and with the lead changing over 20 times.
Xograph Healthcare is proud to support the British Superbike series and has supplied mobile digital X-ray equipment to the trackside medical centres' at each circuit for the past 11 years. The equipment has included the Movix4 'DRagon'; a very compact and easily transported digital X-ray unit, producing instant X-ray images right at the patient side. The 'DRagon' facilitates immediate diagnosis and treatment and is ideal for moving between locations, particularly in community health imaging such as that required by health centres' and nursing homes.
This season, the 'DRagon' was ably assisted by the M1 Mobile at the Silverstone circuit where guest medical imaging professionals were hosted by Xograph and Superbike medical staff to learn more about the challenges of medicine in motorsport, and to view the M1 Mobile, its powerful cordless operation enabled by an advanced lithium cell power pack and lightning fast digital X-ray imaging capabilities.
Here's to a great 2019 season! We can't wait.
