Understanding the pressures made upon human resources in today's healthcare environments, the OrthoScan FD Pulse enables operation by an IR(ME)R trained surgeon.. The wireless foot switch minimises trailing cables and the tubehead controls are mounted within easy reach on both the left side and right side of the unit for optimised convenience.

The all-new user-interface design includes a larger 61 cm (24") high-brightness OrthoTouch™ display providing 20% larger image area. The 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution provides exceptional image quality showing fine details of relevant anatomy and a wider viewing angle for increased visibility. OrthoTouch™ touchscreen control enables even faster and more intuitive selection of protocols and image viewing / manipulation.

Sterility, Hygiene and Infection Control
Most disinfectant wipes can be used on OrthoScan mini C-arms and each unit is supplied with a starter pack of bespoke sterile covers that are tailored to the unit. Manufactured from a clear material, the laser targeting device and bilateral tubehead controls are still effective and viewable. These covers maintain sterility during operating procedures and also reduce the possibility of contamination of the mini C-arm with body fluids and thereby aid infection control and reduce the cleaning burden. Additional packs of cover sets are readily available to order when required.
