UKRC 2017, held in Manchester, England in June saw Xograph Healthcare celebrate in style with our customers and industry colleagues alike as we wished the company happy 50th birthday. Sparkling drinks were served by our resident cocktail specialist whilst tasty canapes help stave off late afternoon hunger pangs.

Even more tasty morsels were on show on our UKRC exhibition stand including a number of new products. Enjoying a popular first showing in the UK was the Ziehm Solo FD, one of a new series of CMOS detector-equipped mobile C-arm from world leading mobile C-arm specialist Ziehm Imaging GmbH. Ziehm's CMOS detector enables unprecedented image quality and low dose imaging and is set to be the new benchmark for flat panel mobile C-arms.

The Xograph stand at UKRC was also the chosen launch site for Canon's latest, lightest and to-date greatest Digital Radiography (DR) detectors. The new trio: CXDI-710C Wireless (35x43cm), CXDI-410C Wireless (43x42cm) and CXDI-810C Wireless (27x35cm) all share the same class-leading core specifications, being currently the lightest DR detectors of their kind available, classed as IPX7 waterpoof, including an on-board memory for totally standalone use in a similar fashion to a traditional X-ray cassette and being characterised by a smooth, sleek and robust carbon fibre chassis and frame.

Also on show was the 2017 version of the recently introduced Mobile DR M1 motorised mobile X-ray unit which is now enhanced with the new series Canon DR detectors. The OrthoScan FD Pulse mini C-arm saw an upgrade with all new user interface and a new larger and enhanced display monitor with touchscreen option. The ProMax 3D MID Cone Beam CT maxillofacial imaging unit continues to impress with the quality of 3D volume images that it can acquire in rapid time and using its ultra low dose (ULD) mode.
